Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bucket AI mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bucket AI is an AI-powered basketball training application that uses real-time computer vision to track basketball shots, analyze shooting form, map court positions, and provide performance statistics. The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Account Registration

Certain features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Bucket AI offers subscription plans (“Pro” and “Pro Yearly”) that provide access to additional features. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Free Trial

Bucket AI may offer a free trial period for its Pro subscription. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. You may only use one free trial per Apple ID account.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any AI models contained within it.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its related servers and networks.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or any related systems.
• Use the App to collect or harvest information about other users.
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without express authorization.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, AI models, and functionality, is owned by Bucket AI and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any data, recordings, or content you create using the App (“User Content”). By using the App, you grant Bucket AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service, including running post-game analyses on our cloud infrastructure. We will not sell or share your User Content with third parties for marketing purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BUCKET AI DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF SHOT DETECTION, FORM ANALYSIS, OR ANY OTHER AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS. THE APP IS INTENDED AS A TRAINING AID AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE MEASURE OF BASKETBALL PERFORMANCE. BUCKET AI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BUCKET AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL BUCKET AI'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice within the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and Bucket AI only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty:

• You may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any).
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
